Motorcycles, Roads and Morons

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, deaths from automobile iihs logocollisions to automobile drivers and passengers have dropped significantly from 1975 to 2014 – from 30,000 to 21,000. During the same period, deaths involving motorcyclists have risen from 3,100 to 4,300. What is significant is that the number of deaths from motorcycle collisions was 7% in 1974, but in 2014 was 14% of total deaths. This percentage has been over 10% since 2005. That is disturbing at best.
