t300… and shopping and friends – oh my!!

Where can today’s Diva explore wonderful shops, sample great wine and chocolate while enjoying friends, retail therapy, and prizes?  On the second Wednesday of each month Wine, Women & Chocolate attracts hundreds of “interestingly” dressed attendees to roam the businesses of historic downtown DeLand, Florida.

Between the hours of 5:30 and 7:45 pm, each attendee is provided a “Passport” of local

shops to visit in search of Wanda the Winey Wench – who can be anywhere in each shop. (Take a look at the Passport for the November 8th event here Download a Passport). Once Wanda is spotted, the diva receives  a stamp on her passport and heads off the next shop! During your crusade to find Wanda, each shop will have samples of wine or chocolate (sometimes both)!

By 7:45 pm all Divas share their adventures at the Abbey for prize drawings. Prizes are awarded at random for visiting each of 15 shops, or making at least one purchase and visiting at least eight locations, and dressing up according to the theme of the month.

And per the author – after a few hours of “girl time,” the Brickhouse was the ideal place for faj3 some awesome Fajitas!  See more info for the next event and the photo gallery below! Everyone had a “simply fabulous” time!
